 INSIDE OUT

Taking part in the global art project, INSIDE OUT, we put up a 135' installation, pasted 45 portraits on the corner of Wilshire Blvd and Vermont, Korea Town, CA, raising awareness for "Peace Love & Understanding".

Also collaborated with a local street artist, Morley, the poet of the streets, where each poster revealed the beautiful words he wrote for our project.

"THIS IS OUR HOME: OUR SUN, OUR STARS, OUR SKY. THIS IS OUR CAL, THIS IS OUR STORM. THIS IS OUR PROGRESS, OUR DISTANCE, OUR GIFT, OUR CHALLENGE, OUR POTENTIAL, OUR RESPONSIBILITY, OUR TODAY, OUR TOMORROW. THIS IS OUR "RIGHT NOW". LET'S FACE IT TOGETHER."

MORLEY

Morley is a Los Angeles-based street artist that specializes in bold, typographic posters which he wheat pastes within the urban landscape, blending humor, hope and his unique perspective on life. This voice was given a face when he began including an image of himself in each of his pieces, looking to create a more intimate relationship between the artist and the audience.
As Steve Lazarides said, “His sympathetic statements give the tirelessly aspirational residents a welcome reminder of what’s important in life: love, simple pleasures, making the world a slightly better place and not hating on yourself too much.”

JR (Inside Out)

A large scale participatory art project that

transforms messages of personal identity

into pieces of artistic work. A collaboration

between artist JR, the TED Prize and you.

JR exhibits freely in the streets of the world,

catching the attention of people who are not

typical museum visitors. His work mixes Art

and Act, talks about commitment, freedom,

identity and limit.
